Fall is here and so is the nice temps. This is my favorite time of year to be on the river. I have been spending all my time on the Hooch since the Toccoa is pretty much unfishable since the water temps have been high. The Hooch has been fishing really good lately.
On 10/2/10, fished from Azalea Drive Park up to the bottom of Island Ford shoals. Fishing was slow due to the water turbidity caused from all the rain during the week.
On 10/9/10, fished the Jones Bridge area and had a great day. The water color is starting to become that pea green color caused from the lake turnover this time of year. The fish did not seem to mind, we caught a number of fish on streamers and nymphs throughout the day. It was a good day to be on the water. Book your trip now for the good fall fishing!
