Chattahoochee River Fly Fishing Guide Trips

Gotta love Fall on the Chattahoochee! This is my favorite time of year to be on the river. River traffic is pretty much nonexistent, because people are either in the woods hunting are at home preparing for and watching football. The brown trout are aggressive and willing to eat! The water is that pea green color, which I like because I think the browns are much more willing to eat with a little camouflaged water. The stocker rainbows are pretty much thinned out giving the angler even more chances of hooking up with a brown. This is the time of year when I like to catch falling water from late night Friday releases and ride it out throwing bigger than normal streamers. This is not the time of the year for the numbers game, but the quality game! Get out here, I have plenty of weekend open slots for November and December. We just have to watch these rains that move in and muddy up the river for a few days like we are having now.
