Finally got some much needed rain over the past couple of days. The private water up in Ellijay sure needed it. It has been fishing really good the past few weeks even with the low water, but with the rain it should improve even better. The cool water temps have kept the fish happy. The fish have not had a lot of pressure over the past couple of months, so they are pretty active. I have been busy on the Chattahoochee River doing drift boat trips. Let me know if you would like to book a trip up on the River Farm this month. I still have a number of days available. December is always a great month up there!
The Chattahoochee has also been fishing good for the Fall season. This time of the year is not about the numbers but the quality of fish. We are targeting the wild brown trout this time of the year. We just have to work around the water conditions and release schedules. Contact me to book a Chattahoochee River float trip.
