Atlanta Georgia Fly Fishing Guide Trips on the Chattahoochee River

The fishing and water conditions have been great over the past month. Even with the rain from Hurricane Irma and Nate the river has been clearing fairly quickly. We are now in fall fishing mode on the Chattahoochee. This means the quantity drops, but the quality goes up. This is personally my favorite time of the year to be on the river, between October and January. The crowds are gone and the brown trout get aggressive. We are still getting a number of hold over rainbows and the brown trout catch rate has already started to improve. We are nymphing and streamer fishing, changing it up on different sections of the river. I still have dates available for half days and full day trips, so give me a shout to get you on the calendar! Thanks, Davie Crawford
